As a language student from the EU in France, you remain insured through your statutory health insurance in your home country. This way, you will be insured in France for emergency treatment. Please not that return transport to your home country is not included in this insurance. Health insurances typically only assume the costs that the insurances in the respective country reimburse as well. If you stay with your statutory health insurance you must pay deductibles and copayments that are common abroad from your own funds.
